    Library Techs are available to keep library technology running smoothly and to help students/faculty/staff with use of library equipment.  

    On personal devices, we can help with school related items.  These include:

    • connecting to wifi
    • navigating Canvas and MyVPCC,
    • using MS Office and other programs
    • VPCC/school-related websites (Sam, Cengage, etc.)
    • other technology needs related to student academic work at VPCC
    • We are not allowed to repair student devices or help them to do things that are not directly related to school. 
    • Feel free to ask for help and we will do what we can.

    Library Hotspots

    Mobile Hotspots are available for students to borrow for a 14 day loan. 

    Hotspot loans cannot be renewed or extended.  Students must wait overnight to borrow again.

    Copying or Scanning in the Library

    Copying is available for 10 cents per page. Cash and coin only.

    Scanning is free. Documents can be e-mailed or saved to a USB, Google Drive and Smartphone. 

    The libraries do not have a public fax machine.

    The following software is readily available on all computers in the library:

    Campus WiFi

    Virginia Peninsula Community College provides wi-fi access on campus to students and the public.  Students can login to the wi-fi network using their MyVPCC username and password.  For more information on signing in, please visit the Campus Wi-fi page.
