Tutoring may be available online or in-person depending on tutor availability. We currently have tutors for
All appointments are scheduled through Brainfuse. Learn how to make an appointment.
We also take walk-ins on a first-come, first-serve basis in our Tutoring Center on the Hampton campus (Kecoughtan Hall room 228B).
The Math Center has walk-in help Monday through Thursday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Friday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. If guaranteed availability is needed, please make an appointment using Brainfuse.
The Writing Center has walk-in help on Wednesdays from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. on the Hampton campus.
Brainfuse Online Tutoring
Currently enrolled students have access to the Brainfuse Live Help tutoring service that covers all major subjects and is available 24/7 through the MyVPCC portal and within your courses in Canvas.
We want to help you succeed at Virginia Peninsula Community College. Therefore, it is important that you attend appointments as scheduled. We understand emergencies and unexpected changes, but please be considerate of fellow students who may be able to use the tutoring slot if you cannot keep it.
