Foreign Language: Databases - Listen & Translation Tools

When viewing articles in HTML format in the EBSCOhost databases, you can select the option to translate the article in a specific language.

• Select  a specific language from the Choose Language menu.  
• Then click on the Translate button.

When viewing an article in Opposing Viewpoints in Context, you have the option to translate an article in a specific language.

• Click on Translate from the Tools menu on the right.

When the Translate Document window appears, select a specific language and click on the Translate button.

When viewing an article in the Factiva database, you can select the option to translate the article in a specific language.

• Click on the Translate Article option.

• When the next screen appears, select  a specific language from the Select Language menu. 

When viewing an article in Literature Resource Center, you can select the option to translate the article in a specific language.

• Select  a specific language from the Translate menu from the Tool box on the right. 
• Then click on the Translate button. The translated article will open in a new tab or window.

When the translated article appears, click on the Listen option to listen to the article.
