If you are required to use resources that are less than 5 years old there are going to be limits on what is available. For something to be published that recently, it means someone has to have completed research on that topic within the last few years and gone through the peer review process (6-12 months). This means older, very new, or specialized topics might be difficult, or outright impossible, to find information on.
To avoid the frustration of picking a topic that is difficult to research, reach out to the librarians to make sure what you are picking has sources available or look at the special databases to the left to see what has recently been published.
Most of our databases can be accessed using our catalog search above. However, there are a few that are best accessed directly to get the most out of their features.
These are the ones most relevant to your course with information on how to use them.
