Currently enrolled students have access to Brainfuse, a FREE tutoring service that covers all major subjects and is available 24/7 through the MyVPCC portal and within your courses in Canvas. The Brainfuse Mobile App is also available for free download from both the Apple and Google Play stores.

What can I do with Brainfuse?

• Schedule an appointment with a VPCC tutor using Tutor Match. Appointments are available for a variety of subjects, both in-person and online.

• Get Live Help from a Brainfuse tutor in a one-on-one session in a variety of subject areas. Students get 5 hours of Live Help from Brainfuse tutors each semester. If you need more hours, email tutoring@vpcc.edu or call (757) 825-2884.

• Submit a question and receive a reply from a tutor within 24 hours.

• Access Brainfuse's Writing Lab to receive a detailed, personalized critique of any written assignment within 24 hours.

• Take advantage of Brainfuse's Language Lab to build vocabulary and work on your language skills with a live tutor.

• Use Brainfuse's LEAP Learning Platform to take diagnostic tests and follow study plans with specific lessons.

• Brainfuse offers a bank of flashcards that you may use to study various topics and you can even create your own flashcards.

• SkillSurfer lets you prepare for entrance tests, like TEAS.
